International Domestic Workers Day Rally to Pass Intro 339!

On Friday the State Assembly passed A8007 ensuring the incorporation of domestic workers into the NYS Human Rights Law. This is a great example of collective work with domestic workers, employers, and allies who sent out letters of support, made calls to the Assembly Speaker, and used social media! Unfortunately, Speaker Corey Johnson still refuses to bring Intro 339, which has majority Council support, to a vote. With domestic workers still excluded from New York City Human Rights Law, we are rallying on Wednesday, International Domestic Workers Day, to call on Speaker Johnson to bring Intro 339 to a vote! Read below for more details about how to take action and reach out to bfgoogins@cganyc.org with any questions
