Your tax deductible contribution will help ensure the livelihood not only of our 375 low-income tenants, but also the hundreds of Brooklyn residents who access the many other services CGA provides to our community, such as:
Building power and developing leadership of Black, immigrant, women, domestic workers across NYC
Supporting transformative campaigns that forward racial, economic, and environmental justice in our communities.
Develop worker cooperative businesses where Black and immigrant women domestic workers run their own business and create their own standards
Provide innovative work force development trainings led by domestic workers
Organizing tenant associations to ensure longtime residents are not displaced in gentrifying communities
Computer, resume-writing, and financial literacy workshops
Community building events including the Annual Tree Lighting, Holiday Street Lighting, Toy Drive, and the Columbia Street Waterfront Fall Festival
The planning of new affordable housing in Red Hook
