Vision for the Brooklyn Marine Terminal: Workshop #4
Join New York City Economic Development Corporation for the next in-person public workshop for the Brooklyn Marine Terminal (BMT). The workshop will feature presentations, Q&A, and interactive stations. Topics will include community engagement findings, proposed planning scenarios, and the project’s public benefits.
Stations will be present around the room where attendees can access information and directly engage with members of the project team. The presentation will take place twice during the evening and attendees have the option to attend one of the two sessions:
6 pm – Round #1 Presentation and Q&A
7 pm – Round #2 Presentation and Q&A
All members of the public—including local residents, workers, stakeholders, and businesses, are welcome and encouraged to participate. The event is free, and light refreshments will be provided. Language interpretation will be available in Spanish, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
We encourage you to RSVP to help us accurately estimate our attendance.

Immigrant Tea Time
Join the New York Immigration Coalition once again for Immigrant Tea Time, tomorrow, Thursday, March 20, at 5pm!
Continuing last month’s conversation on rights and resilience, we will turn our attention to the heavy topic of immigration enforcement. We will learn about the background and history of immigration enforcement in the U.S., followed by a discussion about recent happenings and what we can do about them. Across the country, our communities are under attack by the Trump administration, which has embarked on a project to criminalize and remove our friends, neighbors, and family members. Let us take the time to remember that no one is illegal.

NYIC Town Hall
Join the NYIC today for a virtual emergency statewide town hall meeting to go over federal policies impacting immigrant communities and discuss how we can strengthen our collective ability to unite and engage in inclusive and intersectional organizing across the state in response. This meeting is open to your full network - organizations, community members, allies, family members and friends - and will have Spanish, French and Arabic interpretation available.

This program is specially designed for members of the Carroll Gardens Nanny Association (CGNA) who are eager to enhance their digital skills for both professional and personal growth.The course covers essential topics, including keyboard proficiency, using productivity tools like Google Workspace, ChatGPT, Canva, and navigating the internet securely. Participants will also learn how to mitigate risks associated with an online presence.
