Brooklyn Marine Terminal Public Workshop #2

The Vision for Brooklyn Marine Terminal is a community-led planning process for the future of the Brooklyn Marine Terminal (BMT).

Join New York City Economic Development Corporation at the second public workshop to learn about process updates, engagement findings to date, existing conditions and land uses, and precedents that provide a look at various land-use opportunities. The workshop consists of two sections: a presentation and small-group discussions. This workshop aims to highlight relevant precedents by land-use type to inspire conversation and explore opportunities for the site. Feedback collected will inform the community vision for the site.

Attendees are encouraged to attend for the duration of the event. All members of the public are welcome and encouraged to participate, including local residents, workers, stakeholders, and businesses.

This event is free, and light refreshments and childcare will be provided. The venue is wheelchair accessible, and language interpretation will be provided in Spanish and Mandarin.

We encourage you to RSVP so that we may accurately estimate our attendance; however, registration is not required in advance.

For more information about this project, please visit the project website where you can find the project overview, an FAQ document, a recording of the initial information session, and all public materials to date.

If you have questions or comments, please email bmt@edc.nyc.
