Labor Day Parade: Excluded No More!

The annual Labor Day Parade will be on September 10th. This year, Laborers Local 79 invites our allies in the FEW coalition to march alongside us. Together we have spent 2022 demonstrating the power of solidarity in the pursuit of justice. We look forward to bringing that energy to the first Labor Day parade since COVID-19 broke out, just as we did on the first May Day in 2 years. This year's parade will be led by US Labor Secretary Marty Walsh, AFL-CIO Secretary Treasurer Fred Redmond, and NYS Labor Commissioner Roberta Reardon. Let them and the NYC Labor movement know that the struggles of excluded workers and organized labor are connected! Come with your FEW swag and show that NYS must pass Excluded No More! Meet Point: We will begin meeting at 7am on 44th Street between 5th and 6th Avenue.
