Join Hand in Hand and NDWA on September 1st at 8:15pm EST for a deep dive conversation with domestic employers/parents, nannies, and teachers to get a better understanding on how the pandemic will continue to impact domestic work in New York.  New employment trends are arising during COVID-19 to meet family needs and with them new requests for workers. Whether employers are requesting nannies/teachers to live in, and/or hiring teachers as nannies or vice versa, domestic work continues to be ignored by the government leaving employers and workers to make decisions in isolation. At our meeting, we'll learn about best employment practices for people employed at home, what to do and what not to do to create a fair, safe and healthy work environment that benefit employer and worker alike.
