For the first time in NYS history, in the 2023 state budget, it expanded Medicaid coverage to immigrant seniors 65 and older, regardless of immigration status. But this is not enough. California provides Medicaid coverage to immigrants of all ages. Colorado and Washington have used their 1332 Waivers to include immigrants—New York should do so too!
