Power Up for Care!

Join the National Domestic Workers Alliance for Power up for Care: a mass organizing meeting for everyone who is ready to do what it takes to win a massive investment in our care economy! We have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to ensure home care jobs are good jobs that pay a living wage and that our loved ones can receive the care they need to live and age with dignity and respect. We need Congress to seize this moment and deliver a $400 billion investment in home and community-based services (HCBS) -- an investment that will strengthen our care infrastructure by creating 1.1 million new jobs each year over the next decade and ensure true, equitable economic recovery for all.

At Power up for Care we will celebrate our accomplishments so far and hear what’s next for our campaign. Home care workers, care consumers and other leaders will share what’s at stake and why this fight belongs to all of us. We’ll get ready for the next steps of our campaign and we’ll take action together. Co-sponsored by Caring Across Generations and Hand in Hand: The Domestic Employers Network
