More than one million women, mostly mothers or care providers, lost their jobs due to the pandemic in the US. As parents, including domestic workers, had to quit our jobs or lost income to care for our children, exposing once again the historic struggle of women to provide unpaid care and the inequalities in the domestic work sector.. As we approach Mother’s Day, join us for an online dialogue tonight, May 4th from 8:30pm to 9:30pm to unpack the impact of the pandemic among women in the domestic work and care sector.
