Launching Our First Nanny Training!

After over a year of training and organizing we are excited to roll out our first We Rise: Nanny Training! This first cycle will be in Spanish, led by graduates of the We Rise training program: members of Hopewell Care Cooperative, the National Domestic Workers Alliance, Nanny Bee Childcare Cooperative, and the Community Resource Center in Mamaroneck.

The trainings will be on consecutive Saturdays and include the following topics:

  • Communication with Families

  • Know Your Rights

  • CPR and First Aid

  • Social and Emotional Development

  • Child Nutrition

  • Pediatrics

  • Home as a Workplace

  • Resume building, Interviewing, and Negotiation

My career journey consisted of a variety of roles and industries, from rolling out blockbuster movie campaigns at the Walt Disney to producing large-scale youth festivals for the Malaysian government. Having worn many hats for over eight years allows me to have a unique approach to marketing while building lasting partnerships, creatively problem solve, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
